Allegro Power is one of only a few women-owned electrical contractors in New York State. Paige Mecca
PRESIDENT
Paige Mecca is president, founder and owner of Allegro Power. She also serves as executive director of a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting people in rural areas of less developed nations with renewable energy resources.
Paige is an attorney with her Master’s Degree in Social Work. She earned her Law and Master’s degrees at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and has an undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University.
Prior to her work in the renewable energy industry, Paige practiced law. She is currently a member of various renewable energy groups, as well as a member of the U.S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce, the WOSB National Council, and the National Association of Small Business Contractors

Allegro Power recognizes and values the professionals on our team as the company’s greatest assets. With a growing staff of more than 20, each team member is carefully selected to complement our company culture of professionalism, respect and exceptional quality.
On-staff installers and our project engineers hold PV certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). Our lead installer is also an eligible PV installer with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA).
At Allegro Power, safety is the highest priority. Continuous training, education and skills development ensure that everyone on the team stays up to date on the latest technologies and practices in solar electric systems. Continued training in safety also ensures that the team understands the importance of working safe on every project.
